Good Afternoon to all:

I am at Bruce's house and Tracy is working on the deck inthe back-it looks great! It's a great addition to the house and the wedding!!!

I do have jewelry for all bridesmaids-so you don't have to worry about that detail. I am really looking forward to everyone getting here. Time seems to be flying to me, and it seems like Saturday will be here in no time at all.

I just wanted to check in with everyone-I am also going over to the Comfort Suites today to see how the hotel is...It is raining and has been raining everyday that we have been here...it is only going to be nice for the weekend...so that's a real blessing!!!

Only 12 days left to be the Mrs.!!! I have to admit that I am very excited...I am leaving for New Orleans in 5 days. I still have quite a few details to wrap up there, but at least I can fully concentrate on the wedding for a week. I can't wait until everyone get's there.

Dresses Ordered September 30th or Later:The Plan

This will be the back-up dress to the other dress that was ordered by three bridesmaids. The dress that I picked from Demetrios can not arrive in time if it is ordered today or later. So moving forward with an additional dress that will be on the scene in new Orleans-The base price is $135.oo but ordering it today (09/30) also includes a $20.00 rush fee. The dress is from David's Bridal. Style # F12284 and the Color is CLOVER. (See photo provided)

The Shoes can be purchased at Payless for $24.99 (see photo provided) . It is the Unforgettable Moments Collection by Lela Rose. The name of the shoe is the Jackie Dress Sandal. The great thing is that it's a 3.5 inch heel. Not too bad for the ladies that don't love stilletos, like me. Bridesmaid Dresses Update

I appreciate the patience that all the girls have that are standing up. I have been following up with the bridal salon every week to get a confirmed delivery date of the dresses, seeing that we are about three weeks from the wedding date. I leave on October 10th, headed to new Orleans for the wedding...so I am praying that they arrive as soon as possible.

27 Days to Wedded Bliss

I can't believe that we are just four weeks shy of being married! Just under four weeks away to be Mrs. McElveen. I have never been more excited!!! From the moment that I met Tracy, its never been a dull moment, and for those that know him-surely you know what I mean. It's been great over the past almost three years, this coming January 2010. I am just glad to say that we will be going into year three as a married couple. I can't wait to be surrounded by family, loving friends, and even some people that I will be meeting for the first time to share our special day. Love is an honest miracle, and I pray that Christ the Lord continues to show me how to love the way that He has destined me to.

Flight Information

I am scouting flight information on Expedia.com as well as southwest.com for those of us that will be flying from Chicago to New Orleans. The rates are still very reasonable ranging from 200-330 (round trip) per person depending upon when you are leaving, if you are leaving from Ohare or Midway, and if you are requesting a non-stop flight.



*Please keep in mind that the wedding rehearsal is at 6:00 PM at Bruce's house on Friday October 16th. Please ensure that your flight arrives well in advance of that time. Our goal is to be very accommodating to our guests and retrieve you from the airport. This process will go much smoother if your flights are Friday morning/afternoon or an earlier day of the week.



*Hotel check-in is at 3:00 PM. I will communicate an earlier check-in time if that is possible for all guests.



**Please also keep in mind that we (Tracy and I) are paying for the Friday and Saturday nights hotel stay for the wedding party and immediate family. If you arrive in Thursday or earlier in the week, or you stay beyond Saturday night, please know that you are financially responsible for those additional accommodations.
The rates are very reasonable, if you need to book additional nights (please mention you are with the McElveen/McNeal wedding when booking a reservation).

We have the hotel chosen for the wedding weekend, the Comfort Suites in New Orleans East. It's a brand new hotel. This hotel is closer to Bruce's House where the rehearsal and ceremony will be taking place, but is also very close to the French Quarters.

Tracy and Neisha are paying for rooms for the bridal party as well as immediate family. Neisha will be in contact with you to ensure that your room needs/requests are met in regards to needing two double beds or a king. All the rooms are suites, which includes an additional couch bed in the living room.
